Katharine Crawford is one of the main protagonists in the musical drama film A Hollywood Story. She is a fading 1930s film star who dreams to make her triumphant return to the screen. Her narrative in the movie's storyline is perhaps the most psychologically tense of them all, since her character's whole world is deranged with her living in a fantasy where she is a huge star again. Her character also takes up a Cruella-Esque fashion in the sense of her being glamorous. She is influenced by 1950s Hollywood giants such as Bette Davis (All About Eve), Marlene Dietrich (Stage Fright), and Gloria Swanson (Sunset Boulevard).
