Darren Smith, lead antagonist, 24, American. The ruthless leader of an infamous delinquent gang, he believes that violence is how to always get his way like his attempts on Tom's life in order to make the dormitory a new base for his gang. He's also very rude, vulgar, arrogant, and who Okanah calls a "know-it-all about slurs". He has a burning hatred for The Green Angels and Botan who's associated with them, and a massive shootout happens between them and him with Tom, his dormmates, and Jamal getting caught in the crossfire. During the shootout, he injures Jamal, but Tom's able to retaliate, and Darren is sliced in half by Teke with her scythe, finally ending his reign of terror.
