Feyre is dragged to Prythian, a magical land of the Fae she only knew from legends. Her captor is Tamlin, a powerful High Fae and the High Lord of the Spring Court. Initially imprisoned, Feyre's hostility towards Tamlin gradually softens as she learns more about him and the enchanted yet dangerous world he inhabits. Prythian is plagued by a mysterious blight, and an ancient, wicked power threatens all Fae courts. Feyre discovers that everything she thought she knew about the Fae is wrong. She becomes entangled in the complex politics, passionate romances, and escalating conflicts of Prythian. As she uncovers dark secrets and faces deadly trials, Feyre must fight to break a devastating curse, not only for her own survival but for the fate of the Fae world and potentially the human realm as well. The series explores themes of love, sacrifice, betrayal, and the blurred lines between good and evil, with Feyre's journey evolving significantly as she navigates her new reality and discovers her own strength and destiny within the treacherous Fae lands.
