André Øvredal (born May 6, 1973) is a Norwegian filmmaker. He is best known for directing the films Troll Hunter (2010), The Autopsy of Jane Doe (2016), Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (2019), Mortal (2020) and The Last Voyage of the Demeter (2023).
Ebenezer Scrooge, an elderly miser, is visited by the ghost of his former business partner, Jacob Marley, and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come. In the process, Scrooge is transformed into a kinder, gentler man.
