An unseen predator that hunts the mind long before it hunts the body. The Ghoul invades dreams, twisting memories into relentless nightmares and blurring the line between sleep and reality. As the visions grow more frequent, victims begin experiencing waking hallucinations, losing trust in their own senses until exhaustion leaves their minds vulnerable. Once a victim finally breaks, the Ghoul seizes control while they sleep, silently guiding them deeper into the Forest as if sleepwalking. When they have wandered far enough from anyone who could help them, the possession ends. Only then does the real Ghoul emerge from the darkness to claim its prey. By the time survivors realize someone is missing, the Forest has already fed.
