Michiel Huisman (born July 18, 1981) is a Dutch film and television actor, musician, and singer-songwriter, who has acted in both Dutch and English-language productions. He's best known for his roles on television series as Eric 'Prince' Haase on Echo 3, Olivier Meyer on Angela Black, Alex Sokolov on The Flight Attendant, Steven Crain on The Haunting of Hill House, Walter Davidson on the miniseries Harley and the Davidsons, (the second) Daario Naharis on Game of Thrones, Cal Morrison on Orphan Black, Liam McGuinnis on Nashville, and Sonny on Tréme. He's also known for his film roles as Dawsey Adams in The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society, Sam in Irreplaceable You, Ellis Jones in The Age of Adeline, Ellis in World War Z, and Ernest in The Young Victoria. In 480 BC, the Persian king Xerxes sends his massive army to conquer Greece. The Greek city of Sparta houses its finest warriors, and 300 of these soldiers are chosen to meet the Persians at Thermopylae, engaging the soldiers in a narrow canyon where they cannot take full advantage of their numbers. The battle is a suicide mission, meant to buy time for the rest of the Greek forces to prepare for the invasion. However, that doesn't stop the Spartans from throwing their hearts into the fray, determined to take as many Persians as possible with them.
