Channing Matthew Tatum (born April 26, 1980) is an American actor and producer. He made his film debut in the drama Coach Carter (2005) and had his breakthrough with the sports comedy film She's the Man (2006) and the dance film Step Up (2006). He rose to prominence for playing Duke in the action films G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009) and G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013), the title role in the comedy-drama films Magic Mike (2012), Magic Mike XXL (2015) and Magic Mike's Last Dance (2023), and an undercover cop in the action-comedy films 21 Jump Street (2012) and 22 Jump Street (2014). Tatum's other films include The Vow (2012), White House Down (2013), Foxcatcher (2014), The Hateful Eight (2015), Hail, Caesar! (2016), Logan Lucky (2017), and The Lost City (2022). He has produced several films, including the road film Dog (2022), which he also starred in and co-directed. Following the resignation of Captain Dickson, the Jump Street program falls under a new, strict administration. Deemed too old for undercover work and blamed for the string of expensive catastrophes from their previous cases, Schmidt and Jenko are fired. Now out of the force, the duo finds work at a local convenience store. However, they soon realize the shop is at the center of a major trafficking ring for a dangerous new drug. Without badges or backup, they decide to take the law into their own hands to take down the operation from behind the counter.
