Jameson turns Spider-Man into public enemy number one, running sensationalized stories that paint the hero as a menace. His voice is a perpetual shout, his desk forever pounded by his fist. But beneath the bluster is a cynical media operator who knows that fear sells. Strand buys his station, and Jameson becomes a pawn, his outrage monetized.
