Fan Casting Carlton Strand in Jim Cameron's Spider-Man

A ruthless, self-made billionaire in his early forties who gained the ability to generate and project massive amounts of electricity after being struck by lightning in a desert art installation. Strand can also sense electrical fields, allowing him to tap phone lines and download data with a touch. But his curse is tragic: he cannot touch another person without killing them. Desperately lonely, he seeks a protégé in Spider-Man, offering power and wealth in exchange for loyalty.
