Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris (ソードアート・オンライン アリシゼーション リコリス, Sōdo Āto Onrain Arishizēshon Rikorisu?) is a Japanese Role Playing Game (JRPG) developed by Aquria and published by Bandai Namco for the PlayStation 4 in Japan on July 9, 2020 and for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Personal Computers (PC) through Steam worldwide on July 10, 2020. The events of the game take place within Underworld and loosely adapt the Human Realm portion of the Alicization Arc, which acts as the prologue for the original story of the game starting after the defeat of Quinella.
