Peter Parker's world fractures the night he discovers the truth about his parents' deaths. A brilliant but reckless teenager, he swings through Manhattan's neon-soaked streets, hunted by enemies who know his secret. The Lizard lurks in the shadows—a brilliant scientist twisted by ambition and rage. Gwen Stacy becomes his anchor, a light in the darkness, but loving her puts her directly in the crosshairs. Every choice Peter makes carries weight. Every decision could cost everything. The city needs Spider-Man's heroism, but Peter Parker craves the normal life that keeps slipping through his fingers. As conspiracies unravel and his past closes in, he realizes that power demands sacrifice—and some prices can never be paid back. In a city of eight million people, he stands utterly alone.
