Maxwell Jenkins (born May 3, 2005) is an American actor who is known for his roles in Betrayal and Sense8. From 2018 to 2021, he has appeared as Will Robinson in Lost in Space, the Netflix remake of the 1965 television series. Also, in 2016 he played the role of Ryan Jensen in A Family Man.
Maximus "Max" Grayson isn't like the other boys at his high school, he is skinny and has a bowl haircut; looking more like a girl; he goes deer hunting on a regular basis, with his Grandad, and his two friends, the tomboy Bobby, and the more girly Fran Doggart. Max is warned by his Grandad to not follow his brothers, Colton and Charlie Grayson's alcoholic footsteps. Previously beaten by his Great-Grandfather, Phil, Max is the sole Grayson boy who hasn't turned to drugs. At the age of 12, he has his first kiss with Fran, 9, and the two keep the secret from Bobby, as Max thinks him and Fran have a purely platonic relationship. Although later, Bobby starts liking Max- And Max decides he likes Bobby back. He tries to sort his life out- but then his childhood enemy, Axel Dunn, returns- and he marries Fran; leaving Max unexpectedly upset: and then he starts dating Bobby Doggart. We then follow Max's regrets in adulthood, as he gets candid on how he regrets letting Fran Doggart go too soon, but also how he is in love with Bobby- Max begins to have no regrets- And he soon forgets Fran, as Bobby becomes pregnant with their first child.
