Scourge wanted to kill Infinite for murdering his caretaker as a child, since Infinite traveled through time and space to create havoc throughout the Sonicverse before they merged. But after hearing his painful past from the Jackal Squad, Scourge doesn't know what to feel. He felt vengeful all his life since that day, and now everyone's telling him to let it go. In the ending, if Infinite apologizes and repents, Scourge has to choose: will he forgive him, or forever hold the pain and burden?
