The movie opens up with Infinite declaring his rule over the combined Sonicverse like a glorious, boastful king of an empire. Meanwhile, Eggman from the Dawnverse hides in the shadows with a prototype copy of the Phantom Ruby, saying that things are set in motion that cannot be undone. In another place, we see Metal Sonic flying over the new kingdom of Infinite, and we do not know his intentions. Then, we see the Hooligans and the Babylon Rogues following the trail and scent of Sonic and his group. And in that time, a masked figure with a crossbow hides in the shadows, getting closer to SatAM Knothole Village.
