In this origin story, a brilliant but reckless young operative discovers he has the cunning, ruthlessness, and charm to become something extraordinary—or something dangerous. Recruited into the shadowy world of espionage, he must navigate treacherous double-crosses, impossible missions, and the moral compromises that forge a killer. As he earns his license to kill, Bond confronts mentors who shape him, rivals who test him, and a conspiracy that threatens everything he's sworn to protect.
