Shaiman has received numerous accolades, including two Grammy Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and a Tony Award. He has also received seven Academy Award nominations. Set in 1914, young linguist orphan named Milo Thatch buries himself in books trying to unlock the secret to the destruction of Atlantis.
