After nearly two decades of taking small roles on stage and television, Pascal had hisΒ breakout roleΒ asΒ Oberyn MartellΒ in theΒ fourth seasonΒ of theΒ HBOΒ fantasy seriesΒ Game of ThronesΒ (2014). He gained further prominence with his portrayal ofΒ Javier PeΓ±aΒ in theΒ NetflixΒ crime seriesΒ NarcosΒ (2015β2017). He went on to appear in the filmsΒ The Great Wall(2016),Β Kingsman: The Golden CircleΒ (2017),Β The Equalizer 2Β (2018), andΒ Triple FrontierΒ (2019).
