Toby HaynesΒ is a British television director, notable for his work onΒ Doctor WhoΒ (2010-2011),Β SherlockΒ (2012),Β Black MirrorΒ (2017-2025), andΒ AndorΒ (2022). He also directed theΒ Channel 4/HBOΒ television filmΒ Brexit: The Uncivil War.
He is a graduate of theΒ National Film and Television School and an alumnus ofΒ Falmouth University.
He won theΒ Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation (Short Form)Β for theΒ Doctor Who episodes "The Pandorica Opens" and "The Big Bang" (2010).
